It is a fundamental rule pertaining on how to organize the society. He expressed these ideas in A Theory of Justice: Original Edition in 1971 and in Justice as Fairness: A Restatement in 2001. This not so sad idea can be found in John Rawls's “Justice as Fairness: a Restatement” with an explanation (not all that easy to follow) of why Nozick's idea is so sad. He is also the author of many philosophical books like Justice As Fairness: A Restatement in 2001 and The Law of Peoples in 2001 as well and A Theory of Justice in 1971. In 2001 John Rawls published a little book called The Law of Peoples, that was originally supposed to be a chapter for Justice as Fairness: a Restatement, a revision and re-organization of his theory.
